Maximo decided to get out of jail. He successfully did it by paying the police chief. He also decided to get out of Salvacion because he knew Gonzalo was plotting to take his revenge on him. He faked his death and fled to Manila by hiding in a coffin with all of his wealth. But Gonzalo and Pacquito stopped them and takes Maximo deep in the forest. He opens the coffin and threatened him.
Maximo pleaded with him, saying that he will pay him. But they didn't listen to him. Gonzalo said to him, "Dalin mo ang lahat ng kayamanan mo sa impyerno!" Pacquito put 3 poisonous snakes in Maximo's coffin and buries him alive. Gonzalo had his dreadful revenge on Maximo
